Bremer Bank is an upper Midwest bank that has, for better or worse, become known as a bank that caters mainly to business clientele. Crucial savings deposits, especially existing customer’s Individual Retirement Account savings, had slowed to a trickle. The bank found that their ‘Old School’, advertising and marketing were not generating the interest and results they were hoping to achieve.
I was engaged to help create a series of IRA-specific direct mail pieces targeting specific populations of savers, and non-savers. Concepts presented to the bank included the examples shown here, a little edgy and irreverent with a straight payoff.
